Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Ok, so what do I do here at speaklink.com?
A: Use the site to connect online with the language groups that get together in person to exchange language and culture. At speaklink.com, add friends, chat, post on comment walls, organize events, and group together... all in order to come together in person to exchange. Nothing will ever replace that live experience, and that's what we believe you should be doing!
Q: What are the events all about?
A: The events are in-person meetings of 3 or more people to practice a language together and exchange cultures. For example, speaklink’s group English and Mate organizes events a couple times a week in which people get together in a public square to learn / share / practice a language (English) and share cultural (mate, a South American hot beverage).
Q: Can I organize an event?
A: Yeah! Keep it really simple. You just need to get 3 people together to converse in a language that you all want to practice. Get together wherever you want, whenever you want. If you want to make your event popular over time, we recommend maintaining the same place and same time every week. If there is enough demand, get together more than once a week!

A: Groups on speaklink are spaces where your language community can communicate together. In the groups, you can chat, post, and share any information you would like.
